The mechanical bell in a 69-71 will work in a 69-71 truck, but a D400 mechanical bell will no, the pivot point for the bellcrank is too high. That was my first attempt at buying a bell and f/wheel. If anyone wants to put a BB in a D400, I've got a bell for sale :-)
