If you can get a motor great. But since the M37 motor mounts Paul Caudell suggests won't fit a Power Wagon anyways, I'd suggest not using the M37 adapter since it's 3.5" thick. I'd use the Chevy adapter plate (I have one) and use a NV4500 bellhousing/transmission. That way there will be space for the short driveshaft.
I'm getting about 180 hp and 360 ft-lb out of mine with propane, with exhaust gas temps maxing at 1100 F., pre turbo - very safe.
If the Hercules isn't available look for a Cummins 4BT or a Perkins 4.236 or 1004T Phaser. If SAE#3 flywheel/housing is available (not with the hercules), an inexpensive but strong Spicer 3053A from M35A2 deuce will work.
