There's a MOPAR FI kit to modify the carburated (pre '87 ?) 258 in-line sixes that might be a good kit to model after (or even use?). I started checking it out when I was looking to buy a '86 CJ7, and then got sidetracked into a '01 Camaro and a '53 FlatFender. Go figure. Sounds like a great project and may end up being a few $k.
