I posted this a day or two before the forum refresh... I was afraid a fair number of folks may not have seen it.
It was:
I sit here tonight typing an article submitted by a man from South Africa. It is about his WC 3/4 ton ambulance, a truck he first acquired in 1972, taking it that year on a 5,000 km journey through seven countries in the Balkans and Eastern Europe.
It causes me to think about Dodge enthusiasts who have taken long trips in their trucks, whether it be in this country or in others. Such journeys often become adventures, no matter whether they turn out to be uneventful or not.
I wonder who among you carry such stories within you, and would be willing to share your story with the readers of the Power Wagon Advertiser. When your article is published, you will be compensated in years of subscription, plus all the obvious fame in being in print all around the globe.
If you have an article about a trip, or an article about your restoration or repair, or an article about how you managed to catch this infection we all suffer from, please get some paper and put it down. Another interesting topic I have never pursued, but I think must exist, involves the experiences of military veterans who used Dodges, or had experiences with Dodges in the service.
