For Sale, 1953 Dodge B-4-PW, with homemade wrecker boom.
This was used commercially, up near Leadville Colorado, for most of its life, I have had it near Reno for about twenty years. This has been my yard truck for years moving PW’s and other stuff around. Has lived in first gear and low, low, brakes don’t work but parking brake does. Both winches work good (correct Braden on the front and a twenty ton in the bed). It runs good on five gal. can and electric fuel pump.
Low hours rebuilt replacement motor, (Plymouth if I remember correctly). It has very, very straight sheet metal with a lot of small holes (lots of extra lights and switches) but No rust that I can find. No tailgate, and rear fenders were cut to fit the dually extensions. I have the missing grill and PW emblems. The wrecker will slide in and out with just four bolts and the drive chain, no major modifications to the frame.
Good clean NV title in my name.
This was the truck I saved to build for myself but it looks like I will never get to it.
