I dont think timing or dwell would make it over heat much tho. would have to be way out and probably not running well. but it rarely gets in the 90s around here. I did do a fair amount of driving in those temps on and offroad and never have over heated in a WC or PW. I have been out in the cacades in near 100 degrees with everyone else overheating on the trail except me. blazers, toyotas jeeps all had to carry and keep adding extra water. I once had a sticky tstat that wouldn't open the first time of the day until over 200 but then worked well the rest of the day.
