Couple things, if points are wrong, engine could be retarded a bit, making it run a bit hotter.
Weather may be a factor, I hear it's getting hotter there.
Bigger tires change the gear ratio, so engine has to work harder to turn them.
All these combined will make the engine run a bit hotter.
