I agree with the virtues of lead paint, however lead lettering paint was still in use well into the 70's....and probably much later, but I've never seen it hold up like this. I still have some 'One Shot'lead paints from the 'old days'. My opinion...They lay-out much better than the newer enamels, though I've never tried urethane.
