I’ve never replaced or removed the inner frame simply because it’s way more work than I’d invest in a frame unless there were no frames available anywhere. It’s just a lot of work riveting it all back together but any descent steel forming shop will bend you a piece of Chanel with that exact radius if you’re up for the job.
