I actually found a shiny bit where the intermediate shaft had been touching the cab floor lip. I got some wood blocks n things from midwest to get it back up where it belongs. But doing that, raising the body & repairing the mounts, looks like its going to be a big scary job with lots of rusted bolts and body parts for me to break.
I bet touching the cab floor made quite a bit of noise. It also makes the brake petal stick as it rubs on the top of its hole in the floor. And, its probably why I could never get the remote brake fluid reservoir to fit in there either.
