Good! I'm trying to call DC as we type. That's why I put up the bigger closeups so I could show what condition things were in to those that have more experience than myself.
Its odd to me why the input gear could be so pitted where the. mating gear on the countershaft looks fine.
Also, why did they run the counter shaft against the casing sides? I must be missing something here. Why don't they chew through the casing?
And, what makes the speedo worm gear spin? There's nothing I can see keying it to the main shaft.
