Well Alex, I'm sorry to be the source of skin irritation to you. I agree with Clint's observation, that this may have been the best way to deal with the results of circumstances that we have no way of knowing. So, yes, it might have been a good move at the time. And, I have, in the past, done some modifications to vehicles that I wouldn't do now. I was just expressing my opinion, which is basically what goes on a lot on this forum. And my opinion is I like classic old cars and trucks best when they are closer to original.
