They are supposed to be a matched pair but one of mine was so rotted that I had to replace it with one from VPW. Should be "split ring", NOT "split rim"! They are NOT the "widow makers" but dangerous nonetheless. Truck tire shop or even some Les Schwab can de-mount and re-mount for you. Just don't let them beat the hell out of the ring w a BFH. I had one ring destroyed like that so I wound up doing it myself. If you try to do it watch a couple of you tube videos on it before attempting. Amazing the great info that I was able to find in the Forum Archives.
