Therefore you can’t get the original build card for your 1970 truck from Chrysler. If you did get the original build card it might show you the dealer it was shipped to and then you could ask them if they have any records. Generally speaking they won’t. The build card should show all the factory options, but since the stickers weren’t a factory option they’d either be on a hand written note or they’d have been added at the dealer which is why you’d need the dealer records.

Without seeing your tags, engine number, and other data I can’t say if you have an original 383 truck or not, but the origin of the stickers is likely the parts department of the dealer and the person that installed them was likely the owner. Either that or they are reproductions installed later. There is a small chance that the dealer made his own package and sold a super bee pickup, but that seems unlikely.

If you haven’t yet look all over your truck for a build sheet. They are sometimes found in seats, under the dash, between body parts, behind the gas tank or anywhere else someone felt like stuffing them. Most trucks don’t have them, but people have found a handful so it’s worth looking if you want the history of your truck.
