You will have to remove the grommets on each side of the gauge assembly. To remove the grommets you will have to drill them out with a hand drill and a drill bit. Start with a drill bit that is just barely larger than the hole. Them use the next drill bit that is one sixty-forth larger. Repeat if necessary with the next drill bit that is one sixty forth larger until the grommet is cut in two. Be VERY careful not to enlarge the bezel or housing! This is important. Do not attempt unless you have a drill bit set (index) that steps by one sixty-forth increments.
Work over a table with a piece of scrap carpet and be careful not to break the glass. It looks like you only need to refinish the inner and outer bezels. If you do not feel comfortable taking the gauge set apart you should send it to a professional gauge restoration company. The hard part is finding the gaskets for the gauges and bezel. Unless you can find them you will have to make them yourself. It is difficult to find the correct material and make the gasket that that is just behind the outer bezel. You will also have to get some grommets of the correct size and the tool set to install them when you reassemble the gauges. I do not know a source where the gaskets can be purchased. If someone on the forum knows of such a source, I would like to know about it. Hope this information is of some help.
