Nick, many moons ago my 1955 Chevy with new tires and chrome rimes died on my way to work. I could not be late so I my friend gave me a ride. When I came back at Midnight after my shift, the car was on blocks and you know the rest of the story. I bought re=tred tires and standard rims (teen age money shortage. My friend and I staked it out in the same spot for a couple nights and no one came except the police wondering what we were doing in the orchard. They spotted us a mile away. The anger just sort of dissipated.
