I love Larch. When we built our house 13 years ago I drove up north of Colville to a guy who specialized in Larch. Brought back a couple of thousand board feet of flooring and cabinet lumber 'cuz it was supposed to be harder than fir. I am still pulling Larch splinters out of my hands... but it is pretty!
