Its the course 60-90 Grit Silicon Carbide. I run it in a slurry with water and joy dishwashing soap.

And the zinc plating, if anyone would like to try that, is roughly..
1qt vinegar
1sm catfood can sugar
1sm catfood can epsom salts
positive to a boat zinc
negative to yor part
5V 4A+ supply
5-10 minutes
