It's still in operation, I think they figure 10+ acres to a steer, they have tall game fences around sections and bring in exotic stock from Africa and other countries for the Big dollar hunts. I've heard of $15,000 and more to make a kill on some animals.Bison, Water Buffalo, Zebra(that is supposed to be good meat)Black Buck, Several types of Antelope, and more.
I've heard stories of back in the day when times were hard and neighboring Ranchers were selling their land, they would make the transaction with deed and cash, but the Rancher never made it home to ride out with his bride and kids.
Money was the boss and lead was cheap.
