I always built my own PS. Fab'ed a mount for the PS Pump, located a engine pulley for 2 belts (one belt dedicated for the PS Pump). Mount a reverse rotation Saginaw box for a Mid 70's/80's dodge w200 (OEM pitman arm fits ps box splines). NAPA made hydraulic hoses. Its as close to plug n play as it gets.
The Ebay system is way to costly. And in my opinion sure looks to light/wimpy for our heavy trucks. The prices you mention are very close on building your own.
