It's no better than me reproducing rear fenders out of fiberglass. It'll work...it's better than having none I guess but not by very much. What would be the point of restoring a truck...hunting down original DCPD bolts, trying to find an original cable clamp for the winch cable, tracking down original knobs for the dash...then installing an aluminum window frame that costs double what nice originals are around for?
Not me.
Incidentally a friend just bought one so I'll let you know how it works for him.
