Hey there,
I believe I can speak somewhat intelligently to these Kits, As I have just installed one in my 41 WC-10 1/2 ton Carryall,
Now I have no affiliation with the company just the knowledge I have aquired during the install of this particular kit,
Make no mistake this is not a bolt it in and drive this weekend install, I have been working on and servicing vehicles all my life and professionally for about 20 years, there is no such thing as a bolt in kit every single thing will need to messaged for fit and finish, even most OE parts will need shims or tweaking to get it right,
this kit requires a bit more but is mostly complete with the heavy lift of measurments and precise drilling completed on the mounts but you will need to work it to make it fit into your frame, I needed to cut nearly a 1/4 inch off of the top of the mount and radius and taper the top and bottom of the mounting plate to fit in the "C" correctly and level in the frame, I also removed all of the brake lines and then redo them after install, now the box that I received was not a wimpy box as was described in an earlier post, mine is a GM variant with an extended pitman shaft and is pretty beefy reminds me of a Vega Box in configuration,
the rest of the system has all GM parts pump, hoses, bracket and rough stock for the mount to head, originally I set it up in this configuration which for what it was designed to do was OK but really didn't look all that great to me so I took it upon my self to build something very different as I also run an alternator to me it looked much better with the power steering pump on the bottom.
the kit is missing a few items you will want to pick up before you start, what ever you want to do with your floor penetration I was able to get what I needed for this at Tractor supply for about $25 dollars, I also did not want to mount a button to the dash for a horn as so many have done before me, I had a look after cutting the box off of the steering column, I really didn't want to over complicate something simple I found my answer in the WW2 jeep steering column with a slight modification to the ring I was able to slide it onto my steering shaft with out complication, drilled an obliged hole and refed the original horn wire back thru cut and solder wire back onto the contact wheel, I got 2 of the steering shaft bushings from Mid west mil one for the top column and one for the bottom recessing it into the housing so it would except the top of the floor bearing, of course this is just an over view and not the process,
over all its a good set up. no major issues it the year of driving with it, just my 2 cents.
