I have the PTO for my NV4500 sitting on my work bench but haven't gotten around to installing it yet. It was a long process though.

As Paul said the 2-direction 342-series PTOs are not cheap or easy to find. I got one from e-bay a few years ago set up for I have no idea what, but the price wasn't horrible. Then things got harder.

The early Chevy NV4500 (early 90s) uses a different gear setup than the later Dodge/Chevy versions so the input gear I needed had long since been discontinued by Chelsea (probably the same for the later Dodge/Chevy version too but they were more common) and PTOs weren't super common on them anyway.

After lots of searching I finally contacted Chelsea who said they can do special order runs of those gears but I had to go through my local distributor, which wasn't local to me. Since they mostly deal with much bigger stuff they were not the most helpful in finding the right part and getting the order put through. All-in-all it was a good 3 months to get the gear once they actually got the order placed and the run done.

Then the vendor was not very helpful rebuilding the unit since they knew almost nothing about them, so I ended up doing it myself. They're not crazy complicated and Chelsea is actually pretty helpful with documentation and part numbers, but it was not a simple process.

Doesn't help that it also sounds like you need dual outputs, that's even less common and mechanical PTOs are already not very common.

I still have to install it figure out how to hook up the linkage and all.
