I have Ray’s unit in my PW. It has a vacuum booster but is shorter than the one that he used. Ray's unit was patterned after a PW that was not totally stock. When I attempted to install it in my truck I ran into clearance issues with the PTO. I had the after transmission in my truck. His truck had a NP420 and PTO from a M37. I had to put a shorter booster in that is as strong as I would like. I later put a M37 trans and PTO I my truck.
My thoughts are to install a hydroboost unit in. It should not be too difficult. Obviously, custom hoses will be needed. I may try to find a generator with the power steering pump on it.
