Its a good idea to get a light and stick your head under the dash to have a look see at the starter push rod. The older you get the harder it is to get yourself under the dash. But anyway the rod gets worn lose and bent. The 2 trucks that i have both have been taken out and serviced. A good cleaning and some fresh oil goes a long way. Enjoy. Its Job Rated.
