tape measure told me an outside od of 8 in. would be ideal but have not been able to find one here
as i said the parts house told me it was 8 in. od and sent me pics and it looked good to me and i bought it
was so anxious to check it out when i picked it up at the bus stop i opened the box and measured and it was 9 in od and i thought i just blew $100 on hot air
but went back and and tried to see if i could get it to fit and it did with the clearances i mentioned so i am going to see if i can make it work
do the 7 in. duals come stock on any vehicles(or are they all aftermarket, it they come stock on a vehicle i could probably find one here otherwise probably not) and what is the overall outside diameter of the canister on a 7 in.
guess i can always try to sell this one if i can t get it to work or write it off to the school of hard knocks and try again
