Thanks all. I disassembled and found the pipe from the valve to the manifold was completely blocked with what looked like black carbon. After cleaning, there is a slight suction. And the oil leak near the rear main seems to be all but gone.

Clint, I don’t think I heard a “ping”, but I assume the valve could just be stuck open?
