The point is the donaldson valve should balance out with the blow-by, making nearly ambient pressure.
Make sure the foler is niot plugged, crank case pressure will blow oil past teh seals. Lot'as of oil leaks means a vent prob.
Dicaassmeble and clean the vavler too, make sure the tubes are clear.
