lol. cold blooded dodge. the stock tstat I think is rated somewhere in the 150s. and there is so much volume of coolant in those systems its really hard to get them hot. they do make a 180 tstat. I bet your right about it being stuck open tho. shouldn't need to bglock it to get to temp.
I did the nachese pass in a WC52 in late October with no tstat and put cardboard on and couldn't get it over 140. was really high winds and in the low 30s.
