I ended up with a W200 that had been sitting a long time and pulled the front brakes apart the other day. it was a daily driver when the guy passed away 12 years ago then sat in the grass in Western WA. drivers side had cast iron pistons and the passenger side had aluminum pistons. the cast iron piston side they came right out with my fingers, the bore honed to flawless condition. the other side there was tons of corrosion on the aluminum and some on the cylinder walls, it honed to an acceptable condition but no where near as good as the other side did. it is worth the trouble to save your old iron pistons if you have them or seek some out especially if your truck sits around. even in a garage.
