Yeah, I was shocked as well, as I've heard for years that no one can find new cylinders with iron pistons anymore, and I had never seen them either. As soon as I disassembled the cylinder to inspect it, I could feel the difference in weight vs the aluminum pistons in the cylinder I was replacing, and of course, the color was a bit different as well. So to verify, I took a magnet to the new ones, and sure enough they are iron.
