I like the lever-lock type. Never had a problem with those.
A lot different names got put on that outside grip-handle type. I’ve seen them on Jeep’s, M-37s, Cummins first gen, and (trusting my memory) FJ40s. Have owned three vehicles that came with them installed, and quite a few rigs and parts rigs that had coffee cans with the broken hubs behind the seat. Never have had a set where both worked.
But for my Dana 60, I think I’m going to have to just replace the cracked ABS cams and try to live with them. Can’t believe they really put a plastic part in there.
I’ve never had trouble with Warn, IHC, and stock ‘80s Toyota hubs. Little bit of maintenance and they last.
