strange quake

felt like everything rose up 6 in. and then sat back down

it was quite strong and loud noise almost sounded and felt like a bomb going off underground---i was in an open mall and lots of women were in tears

below article says the center was sw of jaco which puts it in the ocean--but last night the repors from the local quake agency said the center was se of jaco which puts it inland--which seems to be true otherwise we might have seen a tidal wave--i rode my bike straight to the beach to check out the ocean and it was where it is supposed to be and stayed that way

no real shaking side to side just straight up and down--never felt one like that

if it would have been a shaker maybe it would have done more damamge--thank goodness it did not

grovery stores had to close tho cuz everything on the shelves wan on the floor
