Thanks for all the information so far. The Biodiesel has always been a favorite for its use, as there is an American Biodiesel refinery in the city I am currently living in.
What I was leaning on was what fuels the flathead has experienced, as timing/dwell etc. have so many variables to play with.
Add the low rpm/industrial/military design it would seem it could be a multi fuel using anything a match would ignite.
