This brings back memories of my experience 20 years ago. I was on the Florida turnpike doing 75 mph in my '88 B250 maxi camper 318, when I felt a slight twitch in the steering wheel and it immediately overheated. I found the three grove crankshaft pulley sitting in the belts, but not connected to the crankshaft. How it didn't go through the radiator, I don't know. Three of the retaining bolts were broken, and three were missing. I borrowed three 5/16 bolts from various places on the van to secure the pulley, and resumed my vacation to the Keys and then back home to New Jersey. It's the kind of experience you don't forget.
