I recommend a cane. Fashionable and Effective.
My dad started heart meds that make him weak, did a face plant in the parking lot and broke his nose. Won’t use a walker or a cane because he’s tough.
I use a cane just when my back is acting up - if I fall, I might be down there for a long time. Plus you get sympathy, sometimes. And you can use it to hit smart alecs...
Seriously- a cane is a good reminder to just take things a little slower.
