No, the MU2 winch is not correct for your CJ-2A jeep. Braden made two winches for the CJ-2A jeep. The earliest was the Braden model J-22, the later one was the Braden LU2-24. Neither correct winch used the MU2-134 gear case housing that appears on the winch now in your jeep. The Braden MU2 winch now in your jeeps was made for a 1/2 to 1 ton truck, not a 1/4 ton vehicle like the CJ-2A.
