a lot of the IH 5 spd.'s used in light/med duty are presumably built by/or to the specs of Fuller,these include the non-synchro T30,T31,T32,and T33 and the synchroT34,T35,And T36. these are the IH designations for these trannies. ive had IHC's with the T35 and the T36,and they are outstanding trannies! both the T35 and T36 are direct in 5th gear,while the T34 is overdrive 5th. these are heavy duty gearboxes,they hold 12 pints of gear oil,and weigh 192 lbs,they also have PTO openings on both sides. i believe that these trannies were mostly used in mid-late 60's trucks,by the early 70's IH may have gone to NP 540 series mostly?hope this is of some help......
