Most real Texans or transplanted ones have experience with these items. I personally may be known for smelling flapjacks at 200 yards. While driving the wagon could sense them over the 80-90 wt. smell. Somebody tried to give me some strawberry jam in Cheyenne Wy. I informed the server thatmaple syrup was the only civilized covering for flapjacks. And only in vast quanities as Im trying topreserve my girlish figure. Its also works real good smokin Ham.
