Some times you get what looks like a valid e-mail with a valid topic.
SINGLE click on it to highlight. right click and go to properties.
look at the return e-mail address:
a leading underscore "_" indicates that it contains the virus.
For example:
good <Fred> red@itsmail.net
bad <Fred> _red@itsmail.net
The leading underscore prevents you from doing a reply to sender.
