Bellhousing questions

I have a belhousing, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate from a '91 Cummins turbo diesel that I was going to use to retrofit the automatic on my '87 Cummins ('91 components). Is this the correct bellhousing for use on a 4BT or 6AT, as mentioned in earlier posts? Also, the bellhousings of early hemi's appear to be SAE #3, which I believe is the same as all IHC V-8's. Could an IHC V-8 bellhousing be bolted up to an early hemi - has anyone done this? IHC truck bellhousings could possibly be the adapters we need to install hemi's in our Power Wagons.
