Sounds to me like the truck MAY have been wrecked out of state someplace, totaled by the insurance carrier, sold in an insurance company auction, repaired somewhere, and by some means ended up on the sales lot where you found it. A good thing you toke it to a repair shop for an inspection because there are many vehicles that are repaired this way BUT ARE NOT MECHANICALLY SAFE. I say if the dealer doesn't want to warranty it, look for something else. Good Luck, Robert
