You can adapt nearly any tranny to any motor with enough skill and cash, but I have not heard of a 2wd NV4500 adapted to the m-37 bellhousing. Input shaft would be a concern, and I say 2wd because you cant use a 4wd NV4500 unless you also change transfer cases. Sounds like you need more speed. Consider a whole new driveline or just 4.89 gears and disc brakes. Check the year on your M-37, they didnt make them in 48.
