No. Dodge one tons have Chrysler corporate axles and M-37's have Tracta brand axles. Not much in common if anything. M-37's are not likely to break if the stock engine is still in place. V-8 power can cause failures. If you are concerned that the M-37 is a 3/4 ton and the Power Wagon is a one ton, relax-the M-37 is de-rated considerably when called a 3/4 ton truck. Both are very heavy designs for their rating.
