You're right, were paying $1.84 for unleaded, $1.97 for supreme, and $1.89 for diesel. And you're right, we are about 86 miles from the North Pole Refinery. Surprisingly enough, these prices are not much different than what my folks pay in Yreka, CA. Here's one more, $2.82 a gallon for 100LL Avgas. That's another reason I'm selling the plane. 11gph x $2.82 = $31.02 to "drag main"! So for those of you who are unfortunate enough to live in the lower forty eight, don't complain too loudly about the price of fuel!
