After hearing last summer how prices were going down in some places, the price of gas here in Alaska is finally dropping. Currently it's down to $1.49 at about half the stations around Anchorage. Diesel has finally come down also, $1.29 at one place and in the $1 thirties at many of the other places. Of course Brett lives down the road from the North Pole refinery and my guess is that he's paying somewhere in the $1.70 to $1.90 range. It sure doesn't help having our own refineries here. Robert
