They notify you within a few hours if you are high bidder. I haven't experienced this one yet. they also post the bid amounts for the auction a few days later. The (9) aircraft jacks I bid $204 on sold for $344. Bittersweet... I wanted them but getting them would have caused a little friction at home. They weighed 763lbs each & took up more room than I have to spare right now. MOPAR Norm, now I'm waiting to see what the 2 axle trailer closed today at... I doubt my $257 bid won. I'm having FUN with this! What was interesting in reviewing the high bids for the Sharpe Ca., auction was how low they actually were. Most (out of 500 or so) were under $100 ($35-$66). I guess this was for pallets of clothing & stuff. Many sold in the $100-$200 range with a few under $1000. I did not see any high ticket items. Some of the stuff was pretty nice. What do they say, one government's junk is another man's treasure!?:)
