Assembled correctly, you should not have any problems. Some tips:

-Machine the head;
-Clean bolts/block holes with tap/die;
-Use some antiseize compound on the bolt threads during reassembly;
-Blow air through the head water ports to blow out any loose rust. You don't want any pieces falling out under the head during reassembly;
-Use a good head gasket sealer such as Indian Head Cooper Sealer.

Specs for a 230-265, 1949-59 - Bolts 70ft lbs
