Leonard, Don't set yourself up for a financial loss or even for hurt feelings. The transportation is typically the total responsibility of the buyer. If you as the seller are willing to offer your time and services, that can help both of you out. However, keep the transactions of the sale and the transport completely separate. You should receive full payment for the truck before transport takes place. Any questions of the truck/price should be clarified for both of you before the sale whether by photos, a visit, or a 3rd party inspection. You are not hauling the truck for an inspection! A starting point for the cost of transport can be the one-way distance X $0.75 or $0.85 per mile. If you want to promote the sale, you might offer a discount to this price to give the buyer a break. Have the buyer check with Brad Bottom for a comparison. Good Luck, Bruce
