whenever you do brakes the adjustment tends to change a bit after bleeding. they should NOT rub really at all. they are not like later servo drum brakes where a little rubbing at adjustment is ok. these shoes are fixed and will get hot if touching too much. that's why the manual shows to adjust with a clearance spec.
